Coco Guzmán, an Artist Prize finalist from 2017, opens her MFA thesis exhibition, “Las cosas que se quedan / The things that remain” on February 20th at Bachir/ Yerex presentation space.
Opening: February 20th, 2019 from 5 to 7PM

The Artist Project, at the Better Living Centre, offers a series of Art Chats, each lasting approximately an hour, which are complimentary with admission. Of note are three chats by friends of TFVA:

Akin (2017 Project Support Prize winners) co-directors ,Michael Vickers and Oliver Pauk, will speak on “the importance of building artistic community and your own space within it.”
Saturday, February 23rd atPM
Olga Korper, our Holiday luncheon speaker, will offer insights on “The experience of Collecting Art.”
Sunday, February 24th at 1:00PM
Workman’s Art’s , ( 2012 Project Support Prize Winners) will present “ Beyond Therapy: Art in Health Care.”
Show runs from February 21st to Feb 24th, 2019

Daniel Young and Christian Giroux, Artist Prize Finalists in 2010, will present new work at InterAccess. The show, “Film Path/ Camera Path, with undertitles”. will merge the duo’s “sculptural practice with film instillation using high tech design and manufacturing technologies.”

Opening: March 6th, 2019  7-9 PM
Artist talk on March 21st, 2019  7-8:30 PM
Exhibition runs: March 6th to May  4th, 2019
