Our Prize-Winners in the News

There are Times and Places is a free online virtual project produced by
Koffler Digital: https://koffler.digital/times-and-places.
Coco Guzman, a TFVA 2017 Artist Prize Finalist is one of four artists from whom original artworks were commissioned. The project addresses new ways of viewing and engaging on the Internet. Guzman’s work employs a series of easily recognizable objects such as CDs, typewriters and public telephones, displayed in a landscape waiting for future excavation. Using humour and imagination, the artist asks the viewer to reflect on what happens when we look at everyday objects that are removed from their originally intended context. How do we relate to them? What do they tell us?
