Connected Culture: Museums of the Future – 20th Anniversary Panel

Two hundred and fifty art lovers packed Hart House at the University of Toronto on Wed. Oct. 17 to hear four of the city’s top Museum Directors discuss the joys, challenges and concerns in looking to the future. The lively dialogue raised issues as far reaching as the challenges of technologies on their audiences to diversity among their staffs and management. With Barbara Fischer, Executive Director and Chief Curator of the Art Museum at the University of Toronto as Moderator, participants were Directors Josh Basseches, ROM; Stephan Jost, AGO; Heidi Reitmaier, Museum of Contemporary Art and Gaetane Verna of the Power Plant.
