| Dear Members,
As another exciting year draws to a close, I want to celebrate with you some of the many experiences we have shared together as part of TFVA. Through our lectures, tours, talks, travels and walks, we not only deepened our own understanding, but also contributed to one another’s learning and appreciation of the visual arts.
Together, we celebrated many accomplishments — the successes of our Emerging Artist Prize winners, the lifetime contributions of one distinguished figure within the GTA visual arts community, and the wide range of inspiring and diverse projects we chose to support.
Our organization strengthens and enriches the visual arts community here in Toronto!
I take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thanks to outgoing Board members: Jane Barber Chair of Membership; Rita Daniel, Past President; Jane Perdue, Chair of Founders Achievement; Frances Price, Chair of Programs and Lynn Ross, Secretary.
These five members spent 28 years in various capacities at the Board table. Thanks for a job incredibly well done and the hours of your time spent in service to us.
Welcome new Board members 2026—2027
